Welcome

I am a writer and poet living in East Devon. I have published four works of nonfiction, two collections of poetry and a number of
short works of prose (fiction, creative nonfiction, essays and articles).

My most recent publications are ‘Wild Oregano and Thyme’ in under the gum tree (2021) and ‘My Life in Animals in One the Sea Wall (https://www.ronslate.com , 2019) .

Recently I have been working on a memoir set in the 1980s provisionally titled Out with Lanterns. I am also working on various short pieces of creative nonfiction and am particularly interested in lyric essays and life writing.
